New Innovations in Preventing and Treating the Leading Cause of Maternal Death: Postpartum Hemorrhage

Organized by Pathfinder International, PATH, and UCSF
This press conference will highlight key results of global, collaborative efforts to prevent and treat postpartum hemorrhage, including Pathfinder’s Clinical and Community Action to Address PPH, a proven continuum of care approach that includes the non-pneumatic anti-shock garment. New results of the UCSF non-pneumatic anti-shock garment clinical trials and cost-effectiveness will be presented, as well as PATH’s recent successes in establishing high-quality, local, affordable manufacturing and distribution of the garment.
