In the November 2013 issue of The Lancet, Karin Stenberg et. al have named the Non-pneumatic Anti-Shock Garment (NASG) as an evidence-based innovation for reducing maternal mortality that will increase the positive impact of the new Global Investment Framework on reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health.
